What to do with empty bottles?

Empty plastic bottles have endless uses, once they finished their first life cycle as containers, so this can be possible in the best way

correct separation

The consumer must be previously educated, first of all, to know the type of material from which they are made, this can be known, thanks to the marked number that must be found inside the different plastic articles. In America, there is nobody that forces companies to do so, however, due to social conscience, all those producers of this type of merchandise must place it. In this way, they contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable future for all.

Reuse of empty bottles

Depending on the type of container in question, it will be possible to give it a similar use to the one it had at first, the empty bottles must be washed and disinfected, and those that were intended for human or animal consumption can be used again to store another type of products. For those that were in contact with a toxic agent, it is better to separate them to avoid contamination or poisoning. You can use the empty bottles to house our products, or to make other commonly used items, as we told you about in our previous blog Crafts with plastic bottles.

Recycling

It must be understood that not all empty bottles can be reused, those that housed agrochemicals such as insecticides or pesticides, are generally washed and treated to be recycled for the same industry, with the intention of avoiding any mishap that puts health or contaminates any product. When the separation is done correctly, it is very easy for the recycling industry to do its job more easily.

For a more sustainable world

As far as possible, we must begin to become aware of our waste, the better we begin to separate correctly and reuse more, the easier it is to take care of the environment.
